• Paleobiology, paleoecology, evolutionary patterns and extinction of trilobites, and eurypterids.
• Trace fossils, in the context of how they contribute to our understanding of paleobiology/ paleoethology.
• The contribution of taphonomy to better resolving the paleobiology/paleoecology of fossil faunas.
